Fenie Brossette Expands Automotive Footprint with Strategic Acquisition in Agadir

Fenie Brossette Strengthens Its Automotive Sector Presence

Fenie Brossette has taken a significant step forward in its development within the automotive sector. On July 14, the company announced the signing of an agreement to acquire the business assets of Sopriam, a subsidiary of Stellantis, located in Agadir. This strategic move encompasses various operations, including the sale of both new and used vehicles, the distribution of spare parts, as well as repair and maintenance services.

The acquisition involves the distribution of several well-known brands, including Peugeot, Citroën, DS Automobiles, and Leapmotor, along with all associated after-sales services. This acquisition is intended to complement Fenie Brossette's existing portfolio in the Agadir region, where the company has been representing Fiat, Alfa Romeo, Jeep, and Abarth brands for several years.

Strategic Partnership for Future Growth

The two partners view this operation as a new phase in strengthening their cooperation in Morocco. For Fenie Brossette, this acquisition aligns with a diversification strategy aimed at solidifying its presence in the automotive distribution market, while Stellantis sees it as an opportunity to support the growth of its brands in the southern part of the Kingdom.

However, the completion of this transaction is subject to the usual conditions that apply to such operations, particularly the requirement to obtain prior approval from the Competition Council. Both groups anticipate a definitive resolution during the 2026 fiscal year.

Founded in 1928 and listed on the Casablanca Stock Exchange, Fenie Brossette operates in various sectors including construction, public works, industry, energy, and water. Since 2013, the company has also been expanding its activities in automotive distribution.
