Fes Security Forces Make Significant Drug Bust
On Thursday, March 12, 2026, the anti-gang unit of the Fes Security Directorate, in coordination with the General Directorate for Territorial Surveillance, successfully apprehended an individual with a criminal record suspected of involvement in drug trafficking and possession of narcotics. The arrest occurred shortly after the suspect arrived by train from one of the northern cities of Morocco.
According to sources from Telquel Arabic, a thorough search yielded approximately 200 grams of cocaine, along with dozens of psychoactive pills. Additionally, the authorities confiscated a sum of money believed to be the proceeds from this illegal activity. The suspect is currently undergoing a judicial investigation supervised by the relevant public prosecutor's office to ascertain the full extent of this criminal operation and to unveil any additional illicit activities associated with the individual.
