In a statement to the Spanish news agency EFE, FIFA labeled these claims as "false and misleading." The organization emphasized that Infantino has not made any commitments or promises regarding the hosting rights for the World Cup final in 2030. FIFA clarified that no decision has been made about which stadium or country will host the final match, reiterating that such decisions will be made "in due course" following established FIFA procedures.
