Morocco Sportive Club Targets Former Raja Player
In a strategic move to bolster their squad for the upcoming sports season, Morocco Sportive Club (MAS) is making significant efforts to secure a contract with former Raja Athletic Club star, Saber Bougrine, during the current summer transfer window. The club's management has recognized the opportunity presented by Bougrine's contract expiration with Raja, as both parties have failed to reach an agreement regarding its renewal. This situation has opened the door for MAS to initiate negotiations with the talented player to don the yellow jersey starting next season.
According to reliable sources, discussions between the two sides are progressing smoothly and positively, paving the way for a formal and final agreement concerning all financial and contractual terms. Notably, Raja had previously agreed with Bougrine to not activate the clause for extending his contract for an additional season, marking the end of his journey with the green team after three successful seasons. During his tenure, he notably contributed to the team's achievements, including winning the professional championship and the Throne Cup in his first year, thereby playing a crucial role in their double victory.
Moreover, Bougrine is among several players with whom Raja has decided to terminate contracts, alongside others such as Moath Al-Dahhak, Bessar Halimi, Hilal Al-Ferdousi, Abdul Karim Baadi, and Moussa Konate. This reshaping of the team reflects Raja's strategy to revamp their roster as they prepare for the challenges ahead in the new season.
