Authorities Crack Down on Illegal Activities in Rental Properties
In a decisive operation carried out by the judicial police in Agadir, four individuals were apprehended inside a furnished apartment designated for daily rentals in the Islan residential complex, located in the Hay Mohammedi area. Among those arrested were two nationals from a Gulf country and two Moroccan women. This law enforcement action was prompted by multiple complaints from local residents regarding the misuse of furnished apartments for activities that violate legal regulations and the stipulations governing short-term rentals.
The police intervention followed extensive surveillance and investigations initiated after residents expressed their concerns. The operation led to the immediate arrest of the four individuals as they entered the premises.
