Legal Proceedings Against Four Officials of Mohammedia Foundation
In a significant legal development, four officials from the Mohammedia Foundation for Social Works of Judges and Court Staff have been charged with forgery and the use of false documents. The main accused in this case has been detained and is facing charges while in custody, as reported by the local newspaper _Assabah_.
The investigating judge from the sixth chamber of the Rabat Court of Appeal issued a detention order on July 24, 2026, against an administrative officer of the Mohammedia Foundation. This individual is accused of falsifying and manipulating a judicial document. Meanwhile, three other officials are implicated in the case and are currently free on provisional release, facing charges of complicity in the forgery.
This investigation was triggered by the discovery of a falsified judicial document, which led to a judicial inquiry conducted under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor's office by the judicial police in Rabat.
According to sources, the primary accused, born in 1968, allegedly falsified the judicial document for personal gain, putting him in violation of the article concerning forgery and the use of false documents. The inquiry into this matter was carried out with strict confidentiality until the judge announced the decision.
Notably, the main accused previously served as a clerk at the Rabat Court of Appeal before he requested a transfer to the headquarters of the Mohammedia Foundation. His trial is set to commence next September.
