Friends from Aveyron Prepare for the 4L Trophy Rally Adventure

Two Friends Set Out on an Exciting Journey to the 4L Trophy

Ingrid Alleguede and Justine Saintoul, two adventurous friends from La Salle-Courbatiès and Agnac in Aveyron, have embarked on a thrilling project: participating in the renowned 4L Trophy rally scheduled for February 2027. This iconic rally, which spans from France to Morocco, is uniquely centered around the classic Renault 4L vehicle, featuring multiple stages, including a challenging marathon segment across the Moroccan desert. The duo is set to tackle this adventurous journey from February 17 to 28, 2027.

The Origin of Their Rally Project

Ingrid, who works as a meal provider for the elderly at the Marie-Vernière nursing home in Villeneuve, brings valuable experience to the table, having participated in two previous editions of the 4L Trophy in 2022 and 2024. Her familiarity with the event's dynamics is a significant advantage. Ingrid initially had a different partner, skilled in mechanics, but when that partnership fell through, she urgently sought a new teammate. After discussing the rally with Justine, a nurse at the Oasis nursing home in Livinhac-le-Haut, Justine was persuaded to join the adventure. "My father owned a 4L when I was a child, and a neighbor participated in the rally. I love to travel, so I was excited to say yes to Ingrid’s proposal," Justine shared.

Now, both friends are fully committed to the rally, with Ingrid stepping up as the driver and Justine taking on the role of co-driver. They are excited yet aware of the preparations needed for this challenging competition. Luckily, Ingrid has retained the Renault 4L from her last participation, which eliminates the need to find a new vehicle, though significant repairs, including a complete chassis replacement, are necessary. The total budget for their journey is estimated to be around €8,000, with registration fees alone amounting to €3,600.

To fund their preparations, Ingrid and Justine are actively seeking partnerships. Currently, they are supported by Boudet Immobilier and Grialou Automobiles from Aubin, but they are open to further collaborations with other businesses and organizations interested in supporting their journey.

This summer, the duo plans to raise funds by selling crepes at various local events. They have already participated in the gourmet markets in Flagnac and will continue to do so on August 8 and 22, as well as at the "Vidaillac en fête" celebration on August 9. Their enthusiasm and determination reflect not only their love for adventure but also their commitment to making this dream a reality.
