The inaugural session of the steering and selection committee for the 'Naoual Ouzitane – Youth Voices for Peace' awards was recently convened in Rabat, aiming to harness culture and creativity as powerful tools for promoting peace and fostering intercultural dialogue. This significant gathering took place at the Konrad Adenauer Foundation and was organized by the Moroccan House for Peace in collaboration with the Center for Studies and Research on Hebrew Culture and Law in Morocco. Partnering institutions included Abdelmalek Essaâdi University, the Essaouira-Mogador Association, Bayt Dakira, and the municipalities of Essaouira and Tétouan. The event brought together representatives from various universities, civil society, and youth from Essaouira and Tétouan, both in-person and remotely, to discuss and contribute to the objectives of the award.
