Intensified Security Operations in Marrakech
Since the early hours of this morning, the city of Marrakech has been under heightened security alert, spearheaded by judicial police, gang combat units, and local security forces in the Daoudiat district. This operation is aimed at apprehending an individual known by the initials (Sh.G.), who is suspected of being involved in the theft of a small taxi that occurred last night.
According to available information, the incident took place around 9 PM in the Al-Hay Mohammedi Daoudiat area. The taxi driver parked his vehicle to buy a bottle of water from a nearby shop, during which the suspect seized the opportunity to drive away with the taxi, fleeing the scene before the driver returned.
Surveillance cameras played a crucial role in tracking the suspect's movements, as they captured him in the Sidi Youssef Ben Ali neighborhood, where he stopped in front of a store specializing in mobile phones and accessories before continuing his journey in the stolen vehicle.
In response to the incident, law enforcement initiated extensive field investigations. The judicial police successfully located the stolen taxi parked in the Al-Bakkar area of Daoudiat, while efforts continue to determine the suspect's whereabouts for his arrest.
