Inwi's Commitment to High-Speed Internet Access

Inwi, a prominent telecommunications operator in Morocco, has successfully launched the second edition of its "Fiber Optic Caravan" in Agadir. This initiative aims to enhance the integration of high-speed internet into new construction projects across the country. Following the success of its first national tour, the caravan is now back on the road, rallying real estate, construction, and architectural professionals to address the critical issues surrounding connectivity.

The primary objective of this new edition is to promote the deployment of infrastructure that meets the digital needs of future residents, while simultaneously supporting industry stakeholders in adhering to new regulatory requirements. This concerted effort highlights Inwi's dedication to advancing technological accessibility and fostering a digitally inclusive environment throughout Morocco.

Workshops and Partnerships Drive Innovation

During each stop of the caravan, Inwi is facilitating workshops and roundtable discussions designed to deepen participants' understanding of technical standards, regulatory frameworks, and fiber optic installation methods. By engaging professionals in these discussions, Inwi aims to better anticipate connectivity needs right from the design phase of buildings.

The inaugural meeting in Agadir focused on the dynamics of the local real estate market and the implications of new regulatory frameworks governing fiber optics. It brought together a variety of regional stakeholders from the construction, real estate, and architectural sectors. Additionally, two significant agreements were signed during this event. The first partnership, established between Inwi and MOUBINA IMMOBILIER, aims to bolster the presence of fiber optic infrastructure in upcoming real estate projects. The second agreement was made with the Southern Regional Council of the Order of Architects, further solidifying collaborative efforts to enhance connectivity in new developments.

Following the Agadir kickoff, the caravan will continue its journey to Casablanca and then to Tangier, facilitating valuable exchanges among professionals while promoting the adoption of best practices for creating better-connected buildings. Through this initiative, Inwi is committed to expanding access to high-speed internet across Morocco and supporting the digital transformation of the real estate sector.
