He attributed his observations to the fact that he hadn't visited Morocco for nearly 15 years.
Many of Khabaz's Dutch friends are also surprised by the positive changes in Morocco when they visit, often finding a different image than what they had initially perceived. Furthermore, Khabaz's children have developed a fondness for visiting Morocco annually, choosing it over other tourist destinations.
As he prepares for an upcoming title fight against his compatriot Mohamed Tushasi in December in Arnhem, the Netherlands, Khabaz shared his reluctance to face a fellow Moroccan. He explained that contractual obligations with Glory, the promotion organization, left him no choice but to proceed with the match, despite his personal reservations.
