Marrakech Menara International Airport has reported a significant increase in passenger traffic at the end of February 2026, achieving a remarkable growth rate of 10.40% compared to the same period in 2025. According to data from the National Airports Office, the airport welcomed a total of 1,769,912 passengers during the first two months of the current year, in stark contrast to the 1,603,193 passengers recorded at the end of February 2025. The statistics reveal a detailed breakdown of air traffic, indicating that the Marrakech Menara International Airport facilitated the transit of 1,700,720 passengers through international flights, marking an increase of 9.76%, while domestic flights accounted for 69,192 passengers, reflecting an impressive growth of 28.98%.

In the month of February alone, the airport welcomed 899,058 passengers, representing a growth of 7.44% compared to the same month in 2025, where the figure stood at 836,792 passengers. The top five international flight routes that contributed to this surge included the Marrakech-Paris Orly route, leading with 65,475 passengers, which accounts for 2.61% of the total traffic. Following this were the Mohammed V-Jeddah route with 53,104 passengers (2.12%), the Mohammed V-Paris Orly route with 49,082 passengers (1.90%), the Marrakech-London Gatwick route with 45,323 passengers (1.81%), and finally the Marrakech-Paris Charles de Gaulle route with 40,101 passengers (1.60%). This remarkable performance underscores the dynamic nature of air transportation at Marrakech Menara Airport, which serves as one of the primary gateways for tourism into Morocco.

On a national scale, commercial air traffic across Moroccan airports recorded a total of 5,909,802 passengers by the end of February 2026, reflecting a growth rate of 7.91% compared to the same period last year, as reported by the National Airports Office. The distribution of air traffic between national and international flights at the end of February 2026 showed that Moroccan airports received 5,308,935 passengers via international flights (an increase of 8.18%) and 600,867 passengers through domestic flights (growing by 5.60%).
