As of the end of February 2026, Marrakech Menara International Airport has recorded a significant increase of 10.40% in passenger traffic compared to the same period in 2025, according to data from the National Airports Office. The office's statistics concerning air transport for February 2026 revealed that the airport welcomed a total of 1,769,912 passengers during the first two months of the current year, compared to 1,603,193 passengers by the end of February 2025. The distribution of air transport activity for passengers between national and international flights during this period shows that Marrakech Menara International Airport received 1,700,720 passengers through international flights, marking a 9.76% increase, while domestic flights accounted for 69,192 passengers, reflecting a substantial increase of 28.98%.
In February alone, the airport served 899,058 passengers, which represents a 7.44% rise compared to the 836,792 passengers recorded during the same month in 2025. When examining the top five international air routes, the Marrakech-Paris Orly route topped the list with 65,475 passengers, making up 2.61% of the total. This was followed by the Mohammed V-Jeddah route with 53,104 passengers (2.12%), the Mohammed V-Paris Orly route with 49,082 passengers (1.90%), the Marrakech-London Gatwick route with 45,323 passengers (1.81%), and finally the Marrakech-Paris Charles de Gaulle route with 40,101 passengers (1.60%). On a national scale, commercial air traffic at Moroccan airports reached 5,909,802 passengers by the end of February 2026, showing a growth rate of 7.91% compared to the same period last year, according to the National Airports Office. The distribution of air transport for passengers by the end of February 2026 indicated that airports across the kingdom welcomed a total of 5,308,935 passengers through international flights (an increase of 8.18%) and 600,867 passengers via domestic flights (up 5.60%).
