Mediterrania Capital Partners Secures First Closing of its Second Moroccan Real Estate Fund

Mediterrania Capital Partners Launches MCP RE II FPCC RFA

Mediterrania Capital Partners has successfully announced the first closing of its second real estate investment fund, MCP RE II FPCC RFA, dedicated to the Moroccan market, with total investor commitments amounting to an impressive MAD 380 million. This latest endeavor builds upon the strong foundation laid by its predecessor and marks a significant advancement in the evolution of Mediterrania Capital Partners Gestion’s real estate investment platform. With a strategic vision in place, the fund is designed to leverage the growing demand in Morocco’s real estate sector.

Investment Focus and Initial Deployment

With a defined investment horizon of ten years, MCP RE II FPCC RFA is poised to concentrate on the development of tertiary and industrial real estate projects. The fund aims to capitalize on high-potential land opportunities suitable for the construction of office buildings, logistics hubs, industrial assets, and mixed-use developments. In a proactive move, the fund has already secured its inaugural land asset located in the Casa-Anfa district of Casablanca, where a new office-centric tertiary development project is set to take shape. This initiative underscores Mediterrania Capital Partners Gestion's commitment to identifying and structuring value-added real estate projects while actively facilitating their growth and development.

Othmane Tagmouti, the Head of Real Estate at Mediterrania Capital Partners Gestion, expressed enthusiasm about the fund's prospects, stating, “The success of this second fund reflects the renewed confidence of our investors, who already supported the launch of our first real estate fund. This new fundraising allows us to continue investing in high-potential tertiary and industrial development projects in Morocco.” As reported by africaglobalfunds.com.
