Injaz Al-Maghrib: Celebrating Young Entrepreneurs
In a remarkable showcase of youthful entrepreneurship, two teams from Morocco have emerged as finalists in the prestigious Company Program of Injaz Al-Maghrib. The event culminated on September 30th, 2026, in Casablanca, where the participants were honored for their innovative business ideas. This program empowers high school and university students to create and manage mini-enterprises, referred to as "Junior Enterprises," throughout the academic year.
This year marked the 18th edition of the program, with LAMSA from Lycée Tarik Ibn Ziyad in Meknès winning in the high school category, while ISHARATECH from Cadi Ayyad University in Marrakech triumphed in the university category. Both teams will proudly represent Morocco in November at the Youth Entrepreneurship Celebration, an esteemed event organized by Injaz Al-Arab in Cairo.
Support and Recognition for Aspiring Entrepreneurs
The program this year supported an impressive 6,900 young individuals from over 120 educational institutions across 12 cities, backed by 460 teachers and volunteers. Participants successfully created 227 Junior Enterprises, comprising 76 from high schools and 151 from universities. The regional competitions culminated in 25 finalists—8 high school teams and 17 university teams—who presented their projects and defended their ideas to two distinct juries.
The awards ceremony took place in the historic Sacré-Cœur Cathedral, attended by various partners, educators, and volunteers, including notable guests such as Noufissa Kessar, CEO of the Al Mada Group, and Mehdi Tazi, president of CGEM. In addition to the national titles supported by the Al Mada Group, eleven partner awards recognized outstanding projects from across the nation, celebrating creativity and innovation in entrepreneurship.
For instance, Vivo Energy Morocco awarded HERO from FSBM in Casablanca for eco-citizenship, while Nareva honored TARPAC from ISMER in Tarfaya for sustainable development. Other recognitions included Managem's award for research and development given to SMART FILAHA from Chouaïb Doukkali University in El Jadida and inwi's I-Tech award to ISHARATECH, which secured two accolades. The event highlighted the commitment to fostering a new generation of socially responsible entrepreneurs equipped to make a positive impact in Morocco and beyond.
