Mohamed Bouchouari Signs with NAC for Four Seasons
Mohamed Bouchouari, a 25-year-old multifaceted footballer, has officially joined NAC, marking a significant transfer from Wydad AC based in Casablanca. The talented player has committed to a four-year contract with the club, known as the Jewel of the South. Bouchouari's football journey began in the Netherlands, where he honed his skills in the youth academy of PSV Eindhoven. He later made his mark in the Eredivisie while playing for FC Emmen. However, the majority of his formative years were spent at the esteemed academies of Zulte Waregem and Anderlecht in Belgium. Following his development in Brussels, the former Belgian youth international moved to Rodez AF in France's Ligue 2. His impressive performances eventually led to a transfer to Wydad AC in Morocco, where he accumulated nearly 150 official matches, contributing fourteen assists and scoring nine goals during his tenure.
Technical Director Peter Maas of NAC expressed confidence in Bouchouari's abilities, stating, "Mohamed can play both defensively and in midfield. His ambidextrous skills allow him to operate effectively from either the right or left side, which fits the profile we were looking for perfectly. We are convinced that he will add significant value to our squad in the upcoming seasons."
