Mohamed Chaouki Emphasizes Proximity to Citizens in Upcoming Elections

In a robust gathering attended by over 13,000 supporters, Chaouki reflected on the achievements of Prime Minister Aziz Akhannouch’s government over the past five years, asserting that many commitments have transformed into tangible accomplishments.
During the event, attended by political bureau members, government officials, and local elected representatives, Chaouki reiterated his call from five years prior, urging citizens to place their trust in the party. He presented what he described as a commendable record, highlighting that the government prioritized education, successfully employing around 1,000 teachers in the Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima region, and establishing approximately 2,000 new businesses in the area.
Chaouki showcased the government's significant milestones, such as expanding health coverage to include 32 million Moroccans, up from just 9 million previously. He noted the establishment of numerous new hospitals, the construction and rehabilitation of 1,400 local health centers, and direct social support benefiting four million families. Despite these successes, Chaouki acknowledged that there remains work to be done, stating that time constraints have prevented the completion of all desired projects.
In a subtle critique of his political adversaries, Chaouki remarked on the party's continuous efforts to engage with citizens across various regions of Morocco, stating, "Unlike some, we have always understood the depth of Morocco's challenges." Looking ahead, he emphasized the party's commitment to a realistic program encapsulated by the slogan "Dignity and Opportunities for All." This includes pledges to enhance worker dignity and raise the minimum wage to 5,000 dirhams, alongside initiatives aimed at youth and development.
