Official Schedule for the Throne Cup Round of 16
The Royal Moroccan Football Federation has officially announced the schedule for the Round of 16 matches of the Throne Cup for the 2024-2025 season. The matches are set to take place on the 15th, 16th, and 17th of May, showcasing some of the top teams in Moroccan football as they compete for a place in the quarter-finals.
In the northern region, the action kicks off on Friday, May 15, with a match between Moghreb Tétouan and Chabab Al-Fath Casablanca at 4 PM. The following day, Saturday, May 16, will see RS Berkane face off against FUS Rabat at 4 PM, while Ittihad Taza will take on FUS Nador, and the day will conclude with a match between Nahda Berrechid and Wydad de Fès at 7 PM. On Sunday, May 17, the fixtures will continue with a match between Club Kénitra and Ittihad Tangier at 4 PM, followed by a game featuring Chabab Atlas Khénifra against KAC Meknes at 7 PM, along with a match between Ittihad Yaacoub Al-Mansour and MAS.
In the southern bracket, the matches commence on Friday, May 15, starting with Chabab Mohammedia against Chabab Ben Guerir at 4 PM, followed by a clash between Kawkab Marrakech and Chabab Soualem at 7 PM. On Saturday, May 16, Hassania Agadir will host Moustakbel Marsa at 4 PM, while Olympique Safi takes on Olympique Dcheira, and Raja Casablanca will meet Chabab Al-Massira at 7 PM. The action continues on Sunday, May 17, with Ait Tiznit facing off against Difaâ Hassani Jadidi, and RS Beni Mellal against Wydad Casablanca, along with a match between Wydad de Kelaâ against Nahda Zemamra, all scheduled to start at 4 PM.
It is important to note that the match between Stade Marocain and the Royal Army has been postponed due to the latter's commitment to competing in the CAF Champions League final against Mamelodi Sundowns.
