Since their detention, the supporters have faced legal challenges, with the Rabat Court condemning them on February 19 to prison sentences ranging from three months to one year for charges related to hooliganism. In response to this ruling, the attorney representing the supporters, Maïté Patrick Kabou, revealed that both the Moroccan prosecution and the civil party have lodged an appeal against the initial decision. The appellate hearing is scheduled to take place on March 16, 2026.
