Moroccan Kickboxers Shine at the Inaugural Empire Fight Morocco in Mohammedia

Exceptional Performance by Moroccan Fighters

The inaugural edition of the Empire Fight Morocco international kickboxing league took place this past Saturday at the Al Bachir indoor arena in Mohammedia, where Moroccan kickboxers showcased their skills and dominance by winning the majority of their matches against competitors from various European nations. This high-profile event was marked by spirited contests that highlighted the prowess of local talent in the world of kickboxing.

In the fiercely contested 69 kg category, Moroccan fighter Omar Sellami achieved a notable victory over Italy’s Gian Del Vecchio, securing win on points. Meanwhile, in an intense all-Moroccan clash within the 65 kg weight class, Oussama Zaïm delivered an impressive knockout against Ilyas Krafi. The event also featured Zakaria Nadir, who demonstrated his strength by overpowering Dutch competitor Noufal Lahfa with a knockout in the 63.5 kg division.

Other significant performances included Hakim Aït Hamma's triumph over Spain’s Rifouane Sevilano at 67 kg and Hicham Ben Boukhriss, who bested Spain’s Del Prado on points in the 65 kg category. The match at 86 kg between Moroccan fighters Nabil Ben Bouhou and Maïmoun Jazouli ended in a draw, while Badr Haloui also fought to a stalemate against Spain’s Mohamed Chab Didi at 71 kg. However, not all matches went in favor of the Moroccan fighters, as Ayoub El Khayder lost on points to Spain’s Saïdi Kamara in the 63 kg category, and Hamza El Haïmer suffered a defeat by points against France’s Baptiste Kvazi in the 72.5 kg class. In the heavyweight division, over 91 kg, Spanish fighter Abdelkrim El Omrani defeated Morocco’s Abderrahmane Rachdi by knockout.

Looking Forward to Future Events
