Moroccan Stadiums Achieve Global Recognition
The voting for the prestigious 2025 edition of the International Stadium of the Year competition has concluded, and Moroccan stadiums have made a remarkable impression by securing five positions among the top ten venues worldwide. This competition, organized by the renowned site StadiumDB, highlights newly inaugurated or renovated stadiums, and this year, the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat emerged victorious, clinching the top honor. In a commendable display of architectural excellence and modern facilities, the Grand Stade de Tanger followed closely behind, securing the second position.
In addition to the top two rankings, three other Moroccan stadiums demonstrated their prowess by earning spots in the top ten. The Stade Moulay El Hassan positioned itself at fifth place, showcasing its contemporary design and amenities, while Stade Al Medina and Stade Olympique de Rabat secured the seventh and ninth places, respectively.
