In a thrilling conclusion to the Union of North African Football (UNAF) qualifying tournament, Morocco emerged victorious, securing their spot in the TotalEnergies CAF U-17 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2026. The decisive final day unfolded at the Martyrs' Stadium in Benina, Benghazi, Libya, on April 5, 2026, where the Moroccan team concluded their campaign with an impeccable record. In a pivotal clash on the last day, Algeria triumphed over Egypt thanks to a goal from Abderrahmane Zaoui, scored shortly after the halftime break in the 47th minute. Meanwhile, Morocco solidified their dominance by defeating Libya 3-1, marking their fourth consecutive win in the tournament.
