The inaugural edition of Morocco Design, a remarkable event orchestrated by Moroccan-Italian Hanane El Moutii, founder of the public relations agency Éclat and advisor to design houses, creators, and artists, is set to take place in Casablanca. This unique gathering converges design, architecture, craftsmanship, and contemporary creation, bringing together creators, galleries, and furniture brands for a series of demonstrations, discussions, and presentations. The event aims to shine a spotlight on the often-overlooked contemporary Moroccan design scene, which, despite its rich heritage and cultural identity, remains largely unknown on the international stage.

As outlined by the organizers on their official website, "For centuries, Morocco has inspired artists, architects, and designers with its remarkable craftsmanship, architectural heritage, and enduring cultural identity. While its creative legacy is celebrated worldwide, contemporary Moroccan design has largely remained underappreciated internationally. Morocco Design was created to change that narrative."
