Morocco's Anti-Dumping Measures on Imported Galvanized Wire

Consequently, the ministry has opted to impose definitive anti-dumping duties for a duration of five years, aimed at protecting domestic manufacturers.
The anti-dumping duties are set at 18.44 percent for Al Khaleej Steel Industry, while a higher rate of 52.71 percent will apply to all other exporters from the UAE. In contrast, Egyptian imports will face a duty of 46.0 percent, which encompasses both the Egyptian Union for Wires and other companies based in Egypt. These tariffs are classified under the customs tariff code 7217.20.99.00, reflecting Morocco's commitment to safeguarding its steel industry from unfair competition.
