Morocco Unveils First AI-Enhanced Police Patrol Vehicles
In a significant leap towards modernizing law enforcement, Morocco has officially deployed its inaugural AI-integrated police patrol vehicles, named "Amane" and "Madar," in the capital city of Rabat. Remarkably, this system can identify stolen or suspicious vehicle license plates in real time with an impressive accuracy rate of up to 95%.

Conversely, the Madar vehicle transforms a conventional police car into a sophisticated mobile surveillance platform. It boasts high-definition cameras, including a rapidly rotating panoramic camera, and shares several AI functionalities with the Amane, such as facial recognition and automated license plate reading. The data collected by both vehicles is centralized through the Smart.VIEWER surveillance system, which provides operational dashboards and real-time alerts to security personnel, thereby enhancing their effectiveness in the field.
