National Rally of Independents Announces Candidates for 2026 Legislative Elections

The National Rally of Independents (RNI) has officially announced its list of candidates for the upcoming 2026 legislative elections during a press conference held today, Friday, in Rabat. This event was dedicated to presenting the officially endorsed names across various electoral districts throughout the regions of the Kingdom.

During the meeting, candidates representing the party in the forthcoming elections for the Marrakech-Safi region were introduced, marking a proactive step in the party's early preparations for the anticipated electoral competition.

According to the officially released data, the endorsements for the electoral districts in the region are as follows: Faisal Dardari for the Gueliz-Nakhil district, Abdelwahid Chafki for the Menara district, Rashid Saber for the Safi district, Tarek Othmani for the Essaouira district, Karim Zidan for the Youssoufia district, Ali Ayadi for the Rahamna district, Marwan Janah for the Chichaoua district, Said Lakourch for the Marrakech Sidi Youssef Ben Ali district, Al-Mokhtar Benfaida for the Kelaa of Sraghna district, and Hassan Ajwadi for the Al-Haouz district.

This list of endorsements comes as part of the preparations undertaken by various political parties in anticipation of the upcoming legislative elections, which are expected to witness intense competition within the Marrakech-Safi electoral districts due to their significant electoral weight and the diverse developmental and political challenges they face.

Through these selected names, the National Rally of Independents aims to strengthen its presence in the region and maintain its political positioning in hopes of gaining the trust of voters during the 2026 elections.
