National Rally of Independents Unveils Candidates for Upcoming Legislative Elections

The National Rally of Independents (RNI) announced its list of candidates for the upcoming legislative elections scheduled for September 23. This announcement comes as the party prepares for a robust electoral campaign, reflecting its significant political and organizational weight, with a strong emphasis on presenting prominent figures, including current and former ministers, as well as well-known local personalities across various electoral districts.

Mohamed Chouki, the head of the party’s parliamentary group, highlighted that the selection process was based on criteria emphasizing the renewal of the political class and openness to talents, while placing special importance on the representation of youth and women, viewing them as fundamental pillars in the party's vision for community-oriented politics and citizen engagement.

Furthermore, the nominations took into account competence and political experience, aligning with the party's goal of enhancing its grassroots presence and addressing the expectations of citizens across different regions. The announced lists indicate that the "dove" party is fielding several notable names in various districts, showcasing a clear organizational strategy to engage in the electoral race with substantial backing.

In the Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima region, the party has re-nominated prominent candidates such as Rachid Talbi Alami in the Tetouan district, Mohamed Simou in the Larache district, Ahmed Bouari in the Ouezzane district, Ridouane Nounou in the Fahs-Anjra district, Hassan Al-Cha'ar in the Mdiq-Fnideq district, Karim Boutahari in the Al Hoceima district, Abdelwahid Boulaich in the Tangier-Assilah district, and Abdelrahman Al-Amri in the Chefchaouen district.

In the eastern region, candidates include Ridouane Benhamd in the Figuig district, Abdullah Boukili in the Driouch district, Idris Benjidi in the Taourirt district, Mohamed Sadiki in the Berkane district, and Mustafa Toutou in the Jerada district. The National Elections Committee is still finalizing nominations in three additional electoral districts in the region, particularly in Nador, Guercif, and Oujda-Angad.

The list for the Fez-Meknes region includes Zina Chahim in the southern Fez district, Abdelkhaleq Al-Mabrouki in the Moulay Yacoub district, Najib Al-Zrari in the Hajeb district, Mohamed Slassi in the Taounate-Tissa district, Mohamed Chouki in the Boulemane district, Ahmed Tahiri in the Meknes district, Khalil Al-Sidqi in the Taza district, Al-Tahami Al-Wazani in the northern Fez district, Abdelrahman Al-Misouri in the Guersif village district, Youssef Mandour in the Sefrou district, and Abdelrazak Al-Hashimi in the Ifrane district.

In the Rabat-Salé-Kénitra region, the party selected Abdel Salam Bouhaymani in the Khmissat-Al Mass district, Hassan Filali in the Tiflet-Romani district, Hatem Barka in the Kénitra district, Jawad Gharib in the Gharb district, Omar Al-Zarq in the Salé city district, Abdel Karim Al-Zamzami in the Salé new district, Alaa Al-Din Al-Bahrawi in the Rabat-Shalla district, Taha Al-Jmani in the Rabat-Muhit district, Anwar Sabri in the Sidi Slimane district, Ahmed Al-Ghazoui in the Sidi Qasim district, and Rachid Al-Hamri in the Skhirat-Témara district.

In the Beni Mellal-Khenifra region, nominees include Saleh Hnain in the Fquih Ben Salah district, Rachid Al-Mansouri in the Azilal-Demnat district, Mustafa Rdad in the Bzou and Ouaouizaght district, Mohamed Bado in the Khenifra district, Khalid Al-Mansouri in the Beni Mellal district, and Hamid Al-Arashi in the Khouribga district.

The Casablanca-Settat region includes Hassan Ben Omar in the Ain Sebaa-Hay Mohammadi district, Anas Al-Haddadi in the Moulay Rachid district, Abdel Rahim Al-Tas in the Sidi Bernoussi district, Idris Al-Sharaibi in the Hay Hassani district, Yasser Adel in the Fida-Mers Sultan district, Amin Naqta in the Mediouna district, Mohamed Al-Shabaak in the Casablanca-Anfa district, Nour Al-Din Rafik in the Nouaceur district, Yassine Akasha in the Benslimane district, Tewfik Kamel in the Ben Messik district, Hicham Ait Mena in the Mohammedia district, Mohamed Shafiq Benkirane in the Ain Chok district, Saber Al-Kiyaf in the Berrechid district, Yasser Qandil in the Sidi Ben Nour district, Banasir Rafik in the Jdida district, and Mohamed Ghiyate in the Settat district.

In the Marrakech-Safi region, Faisal Al-Dardari was chosen for the Gueliz-Nakheel district, Tarek Al-Othmani for the Essaouira district, Karim Zidane for the Youssoufia district, Ali Al-Iyadi for the Rahamna district, Marwan Janah for the Chichaoua district, Abdel Wahid Al-Shafiki for the Menara district, Said Al-Kourash for the Sidi Youssef Ben Ali district, Mokhtar Ben Faida for the Qalaat Al-Sraghna district, Hassan Al-Ajwaji for the Al-Haouz district, and Rachid Saber for the Safi district.

Meanwhile, in the Drâa-Tafilalet region, candidates include Hicham Majoud in the Tinghir district, Marwan Shabato in the Midelt district, Al-Hussein Walaal in the Zagora district, Mouha Qarawi in the Errachidia district, and Youssef Shiri in the Ouarzazate district.

In the Souss-Massa region, nominees include Zina Idhli in the Agadir Idawtan district, Omar Amin in the Inzegane-Ait Melloul district, Ismail Karam in the Chtouka Ait Baha district, Abdullah Ghazi in the Tiznit district, and Hassan Al-Sadi in the northern Taroudant district, Nadia Bouhdoud in the southern Taroudant district, and Mustafa Tadonamt in the Tata district.

Finally, in the Guelmim-Oued Noun region, Mustafa Betas was nominated for the Sidi Ifni district, Al-Hussein Hwaich for the Assa-Zag district, Abdullah Oberka for the Tan-Tan district, and Nadia Bouida for the Guelmim district. In the Laayoune-Sakia El Hamra region, nominees include Mohamed Al-Jmani in the Smara district, Mohamed Ayash in the Laayoune district, Sidi Ibrahim Khaya in the Boujdour district, and Abdel-Hai Hartoum in the Tarfaya district. Additionally, Mohamed Al-Amin Hurmata Allah was nominated for the Oussard district in the Dakhla-Oued Ed-Dahab region, and Mubarak Hamia for the Oued Ed-Dahab district.
