Nespresso has officially made its debut in Essonne by inaugurating its first boutique in the department on October 8, 2026. This new establishment marks the sixth compact store format launched by the brand across France, and it is located within the bustling shopping center known as Le Spot in Évry-Courcouronnes.
This news is particularly exciting for coffee enthusiasts residing in Essonne, as they will no longer need to travel to Paris, Seine-et-Marne, or Val-de-Marne to indulge in their favorite brews. The opening of this store not only brings convenience but also a diverse array of Nespresso products directly to the local community.
Bringing Coffee Closer to the Community
Aude de Casablanca, the Retail Director for Nespresso France, shared insights about the strategic decision to open in Le Spot. She emphasized that the shopping center meets all the essential criteria for a prime location, including high and growing foot traffic, excellent accessibility, and a broad, diverse customer base. This area serves as a vibrant hub for shopping, dining, leisure, and cultural experiences, making it a key destination for residents of Évry-Courcouronnes and the broader Grand Paris Sud region. "Our goal is to get closer to coffee lovers where they are, right in the heart of their daily lives," she stated during an interview with _Actu Essonne_.
The new Nespresso boutique aims to attract a wide audience by offering complimentary tastings that showcase the variety of Nespresso coffees available. Additionally, customers will have the opportunity to purchase a selection of coffee machines, accessories, and capsules. To enhance customer service, the store will feature the "Store to Web" service, which allows customers to order items not available in-store and have them delivered to their homes, alongside a convenient "Click & Collect" option for a seamless shopping experience.
Local hiring practices have also been prioritized, as Nespresso's partner, Bertrand Retail, focused on recruiting staff from the Évry employment basin. As a result, the new customer advisors at the boutique are predominantly from the Évry area, reinforcing the store's local roots and community connection.
A New Boutique Format
The newly opened boutique represents more than just a store; it is a continuation of Nespresso's innovative approach to retail. This particular outlet is part of the company's expansion into a new compact format, designed specifically for shopping centers. Aude de Casablanca elaborated on this innovative concept, explaining that while the compact stores maintain the essence of traditional Nespresso boutiques, they are tailored to meet the unique demands of high-traffic environments. The aim is to provide a straightforward, accessible, and rapid customer experience while integrating seamlessly with shopping, dining, leisure, and services.
Despite the adjustments for space and flow, Nespresso remains committed to delivering a premium coffee experience, complete with quality advice and personalized services. "Everything begins with coffee in all our boutiques, and we are excited to invite customers to discover our coffees through tastings led by our experts," she added.
Looking ahead, Nespresso has ambitious plans to open approximately ten more compact boutiques by the end of 2026, further solidifying its presence in the French market.
For practical information, the Nespresso boutique at Le Spot Évry is open Monday through Saturday from 10 AM to 8 PM and Sunday from 11 AM to 7 PM.
