PAM Unveils Candidate Lists for 2026 Legislative Elections

Today, the Party of Authenticity and Modernity (PAM) announced its list of local candidates who will participate in the upcoming legislative elections scheduled for 2026. This announcement was made during the thirty-second session of the party's national council, where a significant portion of the discussions focused on finalizing nominations for various local districts across the country.

The candidate list features numerous national leaders, current parliamentarians, and prominent party figures. Notably, Fatima Zahra Mansouri, the national coordinator for the party's collective leadership, will lead the candidate list for the city district of Sidi Youssef Ben Ali in Marrakech. Former party secretary-general Abdellatif Ouahbi is set to run in the northern Taroudant district, while the Minister of Youth, Culture, and Communication, Mohamed Mehdi Bensaid, will head the list for Rabat - Al Mohit district.

In the Marrakech-Safi region, the nominations include Mohamed Sabari for Marrakech (Gueliz - Nakhil), Tarek Hanich for Menara, Hicham El Mahjari for Chichaoua, Ahmed Touizi for Al Haouz, Abdel Rahim Ouamrou for Qal'at al-Sraghna, Ibrahim Banjloun for Essaouira, Azeddine Mdaoui for Rahamna, and Adel Sebaâ for Safi.

Within the Rabat-Salé-Kénitra region, in addition to Bensaid, the lists comprise Adeb Ben Ibrahim for Rabat-Shalla district, Imad Rifi for Salé City, Al Arabi Rouaich for Salé New, Mohamed Helali for Skhirat-Témara, Mohamed Sharrou for Khmissat Oulmes, Bouchra El Wardy for Tiflet-Rammani, Miloud Shalikh for Kenitra, Abdel Aziz Bouhssini for Gharb, and Abdel Latif Ben Zaroual for Sidi Qasim and Sidi Slimane.

In the Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima region, the party has nominated Mohamed Hamouti for Al Hoceima, Abdel Latif Al-Ghalbzouri for Tangier-Assilah, Abdel Salam Al-Chalaf for Al-Fahs Anjra, Mohamed Al-Arabi Ahnin for Tetouan, Mohamed Al-Arabi Al-Murabit for Mdiq-Fnideq, Zainab Al-Simo for Larache, and Abdel Hafidh Al-Makman for Chefchaouen.

In the eastern region, the nominations include Ridwan Boukataya for Jerada, Abdel Qader Hadhouri for Oujda Angad, Mohamed Ibrahim for Berkane, Abdel Rahman Al-Sahli for Taourirt, Hamid Al-Shayya for Figuig, and Mohamed Al-Moumini for Nador.

In the Souss-Massa region, the party has selected Hamid Ouahbi for Agadir Ida Ou Tanane, Mohamed Oudmin for Inzegane Ait Melloul, Al-Hussein Al-Farsi for Chtouka Ait Baha, Hanan Al-Massi for southern Taroudant, and Abdel Latif Ouahbi for northern Taroudant.

The lists in the Béni Mellal-Khénifra region include Hicham Al-Sabri for Béni Mellal, Badr Fawzi for Bzou-Ouizguht, Mohamed Benali for Azilal-Demnat, Ahmed Fadli for Fqih Ben Salah, and Hman Bahsine for Khénifra. In the Drâa-Tafilalet region, the nominations include Abdullah Al-Amri for Errachidia, Iman Lamawi for Ouarzazate, and Youssef Amtezou for Zagora.

In the southern provinces, the party has endorsed Abdullah Dabbada for Boujdour, Sidi Mohamed Salem Al-Jmani for Laayoune, Abdel Hai Hartoun for Tarfaya, Mohamed Al-Jmani for Smara, Jamal Sidati for Sidi Ifni, Mehdi Al-Tabt for Guelmim, Rashid Al-Tamek for Assa-Zag, Ibrahim Bouaid for Tan-Tan, Yanja Al-Khatat for Oued Eddahab, and Abdel Fattah Al-Maki for Awsard.

The announcement of these candidate lists is part of PAM's preparations for the upcoming legislative elections. The party is relying on its national and regional leaders as well as current parliamentarians to manage the electoral competition in various districts. This move reflects the party's organizational mobilization ahead of the elections scheduled for months ahead.
