According to ONDA's latest statistics on commercial air traffic, the airport welcomed a total of 6,953,695 passengers during the first seven months of 2026. This marks a substantial rise from the 6,338,610 travelers recorded in the same timeframe in 2025. Specifically, in July 2026 alone, the airport saw 1,197,152 passengers, which represents a 7.67% increase from the 1,111,866 passengers in July 2025.
Detailed Breakdown of Passenger Trends
When examining the breakdown of passenger traffic for July 2026, there were 1,084,506 passengers on international flights, up from 1,009,313 in July 2025, reflecting a 7.45% increase. Additionally, domestic travel also saw an uptick, with 112,646 passengers compared to 102,553 the previous year, marking a growth of 9.84%. Over the first seven months of 2026, international travel accounted for 6,241,920 passengers, a 9.63% increase from the 5,693,531 recorded during the same period in 2025. Domestic passenger numbers also rose significantly, reaching 711,775, which is a 10.34% increase from 645,079 in July 2025.
On a national scale, Moroccan airports collectively recorded a commercial traffic of 22,282,997 passengers by the end of July 2026, reflecting an 8.77% increase compared to the same period last year. For July alone, the total passenger traffic across all airports amounted to 3,450,846, up from 3,184,027 in July 2025, translating to an 8.38% growth.
