On the evening of Monday, June 15, police officers from the Marrakech security services successfully apprehended two minors, aged 17 and 14, under suspicion of their involvement in a theft case that occurred within a vehicle parked on a public street. The intervention by law enforcement came after a video circulated on social media, depicting four individuals executing the theft from inside the car, a scene that sparked significant reactions among digital platform users.
According to available information, the police initiated field investigations and technical inquiries to determine the identities of the suspects, despite the fact that the vehicle owner had not filed a complaint regarding the incident. Continuous investigations led to the identification of the involved parties and the arrest of two of them, who were found in possession of some of the stolen items obtained from this criminal act.
The apprehended minors are currently under surveillance as part of a judicial investigation overseen by the competent public prosecutor’s office, aimed at uncovering all circumstances and details surrounding the case and clarifying the criminal acts attributed to them. Meanwhile, security investigations continue in pursuit of the third and fourth suspects, whose identities have been fully established, with the intent to bring all involved parties to justice.
