Qorvis Enters Strategic Communications Agreement with Morocco
In a significant move to bolster diplomatic relations, the Qorvis communications firm has entered into a strategic communications agreement with Morocco, valued at $35,000 per month. This agreement, which commenced on August 6, 2026, is set for six months but includes an option to extend it to a full year. The primary objective of this partnership is to enhance Morocco's relationship with the United States, leveraging Qorvis's expertise in various aspects of public relations.
The comprehensive scope of this collaboration encompasses strategic counsel, message development, digital amplification, validator engagement, event planning, and issues management. The team dedicated to this initiative consists of five members, including partner Rich Masters and chief editorial officer Samantha Sault, who will work closely to ensure the successful execution of the communication strategies.
In a recent press release distributed by Qorvis, Morocco's efforts to solidify its international standing were highlighted, particularly praising former President Donald Trump's reaffirmation of Moroccan sovereignty over Western Sahara. The release also celebrated a notable development, as King Mohammed VI announced the naming of the 655-mile Tiznit-Dakhla Expressway—the one of the longest highways in Africa—as the "Donald J. Trump Highway." This gesture reaffirms the historical bond between the two nations, dating back to 1777 when Morocco became the first country to recognize the independence of the United States.
