Rabat Prepares for the 4th Edition of the International Chemistry Forum

Rabat Gears Up for the International Chemistry Forum's 4th Edition

Under the esteemed patronage of King Mohammed VI, Rabat is set to host the fourth edition of the International Chemistry Forum on May 13 and 14, 2026. This prominent event is organized by the Federation of Chemistry and Parachemistry (FCP) in collaboration with the Ministry of Industry and Trade, bringing together a diverse array of key players from both the Moroccan and international chemical industries.

The forum, which will be themed "Chemistry at the Heart of Industrial Integration," aims to highlight the critical role of the chemical sector in bolstering value chains. In a global landscape increasingly characterized by profound shifts—whether geopolitical, energy-related, or technological—the need for industrial integration emerges as a vital lever for enhancing competitiveness, strengthening economic sovereignty, and ensuring sustainable development. Chemistry, with its unique capacity to connect sectors, optimize resources, and foster innovation, stands out as a strategic pillar in this endeavor.

Over the course of two days, the forum will feature a robust agenda comprising plenary sessions, strategic panels, thematic workshops, and expert presentations. The opening session will attract high-ranking officials, including government representatives responsible for industry, trade, and energy transition.

Among the anticipated speakers are notable figures such as Alain Juillet, honorary president of the Academy of Economic Intelligence, and scientist Rachid Yazami, who will contribute their insights to the discussions. The first day will focus on Morocco's position within global supply chains, exploring energy challenges and their implications for building a sustainable industry, as well as the role of technology and innovation in enhancing industrial performance.

The second day will delve into the significance of raw materials in structuring value chains, alongside a discussion on human capital, particularly the skills required to navigate the transformations within the chemical sector. These sessions will provide a platform for reflection and dialogue among industry professionals, experts, and decision-makers regarding competitiveness, industrial sovereignty, and the evolution of productive ecosystems.

In tandem with the discussions, an exhibition space dubbed the "Chemistry Village" will showcase key national and international companies and institutions within the sector. This professional exchange platform will facilitate B2B meetings, encourage partnerships, and spotlight the latest technological innovations.
