In a recent report by the General Directorate of Meteorology, significant rainfall measurements have been recorded across various regions of Morocco over the past 24 hours. Leading the charge is Fes, which has received an impressive 20 millimeters of rain. Following closely behind, Meknes recorded 19 millimeters, while Taourirt experienced 15 millimeters of precipitation. Other notable figures include Oujda with 14 millimeters, and Bouarfa and Taza each receiving 13 millimeters.
The rainfall data further indicates that Chefchaouen saw 11 millimeters, and Nador recorded 10 millimeters. Larache followed with 8 millimeters, while the ports of Tangier and Tetouan each received 7 millimeters. Additionally, Tangier city itself saw 6 millimeters of rainfall. In more moderate amounts, Ben Slimane, Al Hoceima, El Jadida, and Sidi Slimane registered 4 millimeters each, while Kenitra saw 3 millimeters.
Smaller amounts of rainfall were also noted, with Beni Mellal, the port of Casablanca, Casablanca city, Midelt, Mohammedia, Nouaceur, and Rabat recording 2 millimeters each. Settat received 1 millimeter, and Salé saw less than a millimeter. This rainfall is significant as it contributes to the overall water supply and agricultural needs of the region.
