Unprecedented Success at Sakankom Exhibition in Agadir
On July 23, 2026, Agadir hosted the inaugural edition of the Sakankom International Real Estate Exhibition, which focuses on professional real estate, construction, and public works. This event, organized by Industricom Group, is themed "Agadir - Souss-Massa: A Region at the Heart of Transformation, a Lever for Growth, Investment, and Economic Development." The first day of the exhibition witnessed an impressive turnout, with more than 2,200 visitors and an average of 60 exhibitors, showcasing the growing interest in this new regional economic event.
The exhibition brought together key public and private stakeholders from the real estate and construction sectors, urban planning, investment, and financing. Over 50 real estate developers, construction professionals, banks, financial institutions, architects, and consulting firms presented their projects and exclusive offerings. In his speech, Hicham Rahioui Idrissi, CEO of Industricom Group, emphasized that Sakankom serves as a professional platform paving the way for new partnerships and the exploration of promising investment opportunities in the region.
Zahra Kighir, representative of the Housing and Urban Policy Directorate for the Souss-Massa region, highlighted the programs initiated by the directorate regarding urban rehabilitation and direct housing assistance. Meanwhile, Said Dor, President of the Regional Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Services, underscored the crucial role of the construction sector in major development projects. Driss Bouti, President of the regional section of the General Confederation of Moroccan Enterprises, remarked that this is the first event of such magnitude organized within the Souss-Massa region, asserting that the turnout on the opening day already confirms the success of this initial edition.
