Royal Air Maroc Strengthens Its European Network with New Flight Routes
Royal Air Maroc (RAM) has recently announced the launch of new European routes, significantly enhancing its connectivity and reinforcing its market presence on the continent. One of the standout additions is the direct flight between Lille, France, and Casablanca, which operates twice a week on Mondays and Fridays. This new route caters primarily to the substantial Moroccan community residing in northern France and offers convenient connections to various destinations within Morocco and across Africa. Notable destinations accessible through this hub include Agadir, Dakhla, Abidjan, Cotonou, Bamako, Douala, Libreville, and Niamey.
In addition to the Lille-Casablanca route, RAM has expanded its European network with the introduction of several other new lines, including direct services to Bilbao, Alicante, and Verona. The launch of these routes marks a strategic move by the airline to solidify its position within the competitive European aviation market. RAM's operations in France already include major cities such as Nantes, Bordeaux, Toulouse, Marseille, Nice, and Lyon, along with international services to Brussels in Belgium and Geneva in Switzerland.
The recent expansion brings the total number of weekly flights operated by Royal Air Maroc between Europe and its network to approximately 430, thereby enhancing its stature as a key player in transcontinental air travel.
