Scheduled Maintenance in Marrakech Causes Temporary Water Outages

Scheduled Maintenance Results in Water Supply Interruptions in Marrakech

The regional multi-service company, Marrakech-Asfi, has announced a planned maintenance operation on the drinking water supply network within the city of Marrakech. This initiative is part of the company's broader efforts aimed at enhancing service quality and ensuring a consistent water supply for residents.

According to an official announcement from the company, these maintenance works are expected to lead to a temporary reduction in water flow or complete water supply interruptions in several neighborhoods of the city. The disruptions are scheduled to occur during the early hours of Monday, June 22, 2026.

The neighborhoods affected by this operation include Al-Azhar 1, Al-Azhar 2, Pine, and Jnan Ourad. Residents can expect a complete cessation of drinking water supply starting from midnight until around 4:00 AM.

The regional multi-service company has assured that its technical teams will work diligently to carry out the maintenance tasks within the specified timeframe. They have also indicated that all necessary measures will be taken to restore water supply as quickly as possible after the maintenance work concludes.

In light of these temporary interruptions, the company urges its customers in the affected areas to take necessary precautions during the outage, including conserving water and managing their consumption wisely. The company expresses its gratitude to the public for their understanding and cooperation during this maintenance period.
