Clarification from Security Officials on the Alleged Disappearance
A security source has denied the validity of reports circulating in Morocco, attributed to British journalism, regarding the alleged disappearance of an English athletics coach named Leon Battist. According to these claims, Battist has been missing for over two months under suspicious circumstances. However, the official source clarified that the information published is inaccurate, asserting that the foreign individual in question has maintained contact with his surroundings and is not the subject of a disappearance or absence that raises criminal suspicion.
Furthermore, the security source indicated that the circulating data does not reflect the true situation of the foreign national, denying any indicators that suggest he has experienced a disappearance of a criminal nature or under dubious conditions. The source revealed that the individual is currently detained in a local prison in Marrakech, serving a sentence after being convicted by the Moroccan judiciary in a misdemeanour case.
This official clarification aims to put an end to the misleading information that has been disseminated regarding the fate of the English coach and to correct the narrative surrounding his supposed mysterious disappearance within Morocco.
