In the mountainous regions of the Atlas and the Rif, expect relatively cold conditions, with significant rainfall and thunderstorms expected to impact the Atlantic plains between Casablanca and Safi, as well as the phosphate plateaus and regions of Ouled Teima, Saiss, and the southern Oriental. Light precipitation is also anticipated in areas west of the Atlas, including Abda and Chiadma, along with the northwestern Saharan provinces. Furthermore, scattered showers are likely in the Tangier region, northern Atlantic plains, and occasionally in the southern Saharan provinces.
Snowfall is forecasted for the peaks of the High Atlas, which will contribute to a wintry landscape at higher altitudes. Winds are expected to be quite strong in the Atlas, Oriental, southeast, and Saharan provinces, leading to potential dust storms in some areas. The minimum temperatures are projected to range from -1°C to 6°C in the Atlas, 4°C to 9°C in the eastern high plateaus and Rif, and between 16°C to 18°C in the southern provinces, with temperatures elsewhere ranging from 11°C to 15°C.
During the day, a slight increase in temperatures is anticipated in the southern provinces, central coasts, and the Tangier region, while other areas may see a decline. Sea conditions will range from moderate to rough in the Strait and between Tangier and Mohammedia, with higher turbulence expected in the Mediterranean and other locations.
