The General Directorate of Meteorology has issued a warning regarding the expectation of locally intense thunderstorm showers, along with the possibility of hail and strong gusty winds in various regions of Morocco today, Tuesday.

In an orange alert bulletin, the Directorate indicated that residents can expect thunderstorm showers measuring between 25 and 35 millimeters, with a chance of hail, particularly in the provinces of Figuig, Boulemane, Settat, Marrakech, Kelaa des Sraghna, El Rhamna, and Al Haouz. These conditions are anticipated to occur from 3:50 PM until 11 PM.

Additionally, similar weather phenomena are expected to affect regions including Hajeb, Taza, Khémisset, Azilal, Sefrou, Khenifra, and Fez, where rainfall is expected to range from 20 to 30 millimeters during the same timeframe.

The Directorate also highlighted that strong local winds, reaching speeds of 75 to 80 kilometers per hour, are forecasted in the provinces of Tetouan, Tangier-Asilah, and Fahs-Anjra, starting from 3:50 PM until 6 PM.
