The Application Form Freezes After Travel Conditions
Recent checks conducted by travel formalities experts from VisasNews and Action-Visas reveal that the issues manifest after the initial stages of the application process. After inputting the necessary information to verify eligibility for the e-Visa, applicants receive a confirmation link via email. They must then confirm the data entered and agree to several regulatory conditions related to their stay in Morocco.
Once these conditions are accepted and the user clicks the "NEXT" button, they should typically be directed to the section for personal information. However, for several days now, the loading indicator appears, yet the subsequent page fails to display. A new test conducted by VisasNews and Action-Visas on the morning of August 27 also yielded the same result: after confirming travel conditions and activating the "NEXT" button, the loading indicator appears without progressing to the next step.
The official guide from Accès Maroc confirms that accepting the "travel conditions" should be followed by entering personal information, including the applicant's identity and passport details.
Travelers Also Report Difficulties
Reports from VisasNews align with several user testimonials published in recent days by individuals attempting to secure a Moroccan e-Visa. A discussion thread on Reddit, initiated on August 20, 2026, highlights multiple applications stuck during the process. Over the ensuing days, more travelers have reported experiencing the same issue, particularly at the "Travel Conditions" step. Messages posted until August 26 indicate that the errors persist despite numerous attempts using different devices or browsers.
Moreover, the malfunctions do not seem to occur consistently at the same point in the application. Another testimony shared on August 24 describes an earlier blockage: after receiving the verification email, the provided link briefly displays a loading wheel before failing to direct the user to any page. The author notes trying various browsers, networks, and even incognito mode without success.
While these testimonials represent user feedback and do not pinpoint the root cause of the issues, they do indicate that the difficulties experienced are not confined to a single application or specific computer configuration.
As of this publication, VisasNews has not identified any official communication from Moroccan authorities announcing maintenance, service suspension, or clarifying the source of the malfunctions. The Moroccan Ministry of Foreign Affairs continues to present Accès Maroc as the official platform for issuing the e-Visa. Following the system's launch in July 2022, officials stated that the platform was developed by engineers and technicians from the ministry.
