In April alone, the number of passengers traveling through Essaouira-Mogador Airport reached 32,065, reflecting a substantial rise of 25.29% from 25,593 passengers in April 2025.
The data on passenger air transport movement at this airport infrastructure highlights the dominance of international flights, with a total of 97,641 travelers recorded, marking an increase of 14.41%. In contrast, domestic flights accounted for 240,000 passengers, representing a significant decline of 88.43%. Furthermore, the airport also experienced a 16.31% rise in aircraft movements, with a total of 756 air traffic operations by the end of April 2026, compared to 650 flights during the same period last year. On a national scale, commercial air transport across the kingdom's airports reached 12,336,962 passengers by the end of April 2026, reflecting a growth of 9.7% compared to the same timeframe last year.
