The Moroccan National Tourism Office has announced a significant partnership agreement with the Italian shipping company GNV, aimed at bolstering tourism flows between Italy and Morocco. This announcement was made during GNV's annual conference held in Marrakech from October 2nd to 5th. The collaboration is set to last for three years and will involve a mutual action plan designed to launch promotional campaigns in the Italian market through various channels such as television, radio, digital marketing, and influencers. Furthermore, the agreement emphasizes enhancing the visibility of Moroccan destinations within GNV's network of travel agencies and organizing field marketing activities.

As part of this partnership, Morocco will benefit from promotional presence aboard GNV's vessels and on its digital platforms, including the GNV APP Maroc. The strategy aims to target specific traveler segments interested in road trips, adventure tourism, and eco-tourism. This collaboration comes in the context of the growing cooperation between the Moroccan National Tourism Office and GNV, a subsidiary of the MSC Group, particularly with the allocation of the new ship GNV Aurora to the Moroccan destination.

Both parties are optimistic about leveraging maritime transport as a means to enhance incoming tourism from Italy, facilitating the discovery of various regions within Morocco. Additionally, the partnership seeks to support the movement of the Moroccan diaspora living in Italy during the "Marhaba" operation, thereby strengthening the ties between the two shores of the Mediterranean.
