Agadir Police Take Action Against Dangerous Driver
The Agadir Police Department has promptly and seriously responded to a video circulating on social media, which depicted a driver of a light vehicle refusing to comply with a police patrol. This refusal posed a significant risk to the safety of police officers and other road users in one of the major roadways of Agadir city. Following thorough investigations initiated in connection with the video, it was determined that the incident occurred on July 9th, when the first police district in the Anza neighborhood attempted to apprehend a driver who was illegally transporting passengers without a license.
Despite the police's efforts to intervene, the driver ignored their instructions and continued driving recklessly, compromising the safety of both himself and others on the road. Thanks to diligent field investigations, the identity of the suspect was quickly established, leading to his arrest shortly after the criminal acts were committed. Additionally, the vehicle used in the offense was confiscated by the authorities.
The suspect is currently undergoing judicial investigation under the supervision of the appropriate public prosecutor's office. This inquiry aims to uncover all circumstances surrounding the case and to identify the full extent of the criminal actions attributed to him. Meanwhile, the vehicle involved has been secured in the municipal impound lot.
