Scheduled Power Outage in Al Haouz Region
The regional multi-service company of Marrakech- Safi has announced a scheduled maintenance work on the electricity network in the Al Haouz region, which will result in a temporary power outage affecting several communities and centers within the region on Sunday, June 7, 2026. According to the company, the power cut will last from 7:00 AM until 11:00 AM, as part of efforts to enhance service quality and ensure the continuity of electricity supply.
This maintenance operation will impact all villages and medium voltage customers in the municipalities of Warkan, Amgdale, Ajakak, Thrat Niakoub, Aghil, Aghbar, and Oukimden, in addition to the centers of Amelil and Asni and the Tamkounsi village under the Asni municipality. Among the affected medium voltage customers are the Vergine Hotel, WANA company, SNRT station, and Oukimden barracks.
The Marrakech-Safi regional multi-service company reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring a reliable electricity supply under optimal conditions and urged its customers to take necessary precautions during the maintenance period, noting that there is a possibility of restoring power before the scheduled time without prior notice.
