Tragic Accident Claims Lives of Three Family Members in Ain Chkak
A devastating automobile accident occurred in the Douar Al-Amoud area of Ain Chkak, located in the Sefrou province, on the night of Sunday, September 27, 2026. This horrific incident resulted in the death of a father and his two children at the scene of the crash, while their mother sustained severe injuries, necessitating her transfer alongside the driver of another vehicle to the intensive care unit at the Hassan II University Hospital in Fes.
The tragedy unfolded due to a violent collision involving the family’s car and two smaller vehicles. One of the latter vehicles belonged to a car rental agency, and its occupants fled the scene immediately after the incident, disappearing in an unknown direction.
The local authorities, along with the Royal Gendarmerie and civil defense teams, were mobilized to rescue the victims and manage the flow of traffic.
