Incident Involving a Notorious Drug Trafficker Ends in Fatality

A significant development occurred in Marrakech as a nationally sought suspect involved in drug trafficking succumbed to his injuries sustained from a gunshot during a police operation. The individual, whose identity has not been disclosed, died in the early hours of September 4, 2026, after being shot during his arrest in the Rahmoun area of the Sidi Ibrahim region.

The incident unfolded during a well-coordinated security operation executed in conjunction with the regional command and the local gendarmerie.
