Tragic End for Notorious Drug Trafficker in Marrakech Following Police Intervention

A notorious drug trafficker, who was wanted on a national level, met a tragic end in Marrakech after succumbing to injuries sustained from a gunshot during a police intervention. The incident occurred on the evening of September 4, 2026, in the locality of Brahmoun, which is part of the Sidi Ibrahim commune.

The events unfolded during a well-coordinated security operation involving the regional police leadership and the local gendarmerie. The suspect, known for his previous criminal record, exhibited fierce resistance against the police patrol, employing aggressive dogs and attempting to escape during the arrest.
