Investigation Underway After Moroccan National Found Fatally Shot

A tragic incident unfolded in Castellanza, a town in northern Italy, where a 41-year-old Moroccan man was discovered with multiple gunshot wounds outside the Santa Maria private clinic. The alarming event occurred just before midnight on a Saturday, as reported by Il Giorno. Emergency personnel were quick to respond, attempting to resuscitate the critically injured man; however, their efforts proved futile, and he succumbed to his injuries shortly thereafter.

Initial investigations suggest that the victim may not have been shot at the location where he was found. Instead, authorities believe he was likely shot elsewhere, placed in a vehicle, and subsequently abandoned outside the clinic. The scene revealed blood traces, but little evidence indicating a shooting had taken place in that vicinity.

In an effort to piece together the events leading to this tragic occurrence, law enforcement officials are currently reviewing surveillance footage from Castellanza, Busto Arsizio, and surrounding areas. Their goal is to identify the vehicle involved in transporting the victim and to reconstruct its route. Unfortunately, as of now, no witnesses have come forward to provide information about the incident.

To further understand the circumstances surrounding this case, an autopsy is being conducted to analyze the trajectories of the bullets and the distance from which they were fired. Additionally, prosecutors are exploring a potential link to drug trafficking in connection with the shooting, although no clear motive has yet emerged.
