During the same week, authorities recorded over 52,000 traffic violations, leading to 7,702 charges being filed. In total, traffic enforcement actions resulted in the collection of MAD 9.69 million in fines, underscoring the pervasive nature of traffic law violations in urban areas. The authorities also took decisive action by impounding 5,434 vehicles and issuing 7,702 documentation seizures, further indicating the serious state of traffic management.
